These are all great sites with vast information about armoring.
Arador is by far the best online source for Western medieval armoring and has a couple of great rivited maille tutorials
by Steve Sheldon, who runs the Forth Armoury, and has a some great research articles on his site, and he also sells ready
to rivet rings and riveting tongs. The Maille Artisans International League is probably the largest and best organized community
of maillers and jewlers who use maille as their medium, and it also has a great riveted maille tutorial by Eli Iser. De Liebaart
has a good tutorial and sells all the tools and supplies you'll need to make riveted maille. The art of chainmail was the
first site i visited when I learned about butted mail and has great graphics showing how to do a variety of weaves. David
Austin has done some amazing chain maille art! Just check out the chainmaille chess set! The Mailmaker's guide is probably
the longest-standing guide to making maille and still one of the best and most compact. And of course, email me for suggestions
on how to improve my site :-).
Thanks,
Trevor
